Church Retreat, April 30-May 1
A restful weekend awaits participants in this year’s Church Retreat at Montreat.  Participants will enjoy the North Carolina mountains in its spring splendor.  They will have opportunities to explore Black Mountain, Asheville, and portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as be rejuvenated by a time away from the daily hustle and bustle.  Oh yea!  we can’t forget the delicious breakfast each morning.

At Ease Lunch – May 4, 12 noon.
I can taste it now, can you?  A delicious meal of baked ham, potato salad, green beans, broccoli salad, deviled eggs, and cake will grace the tables for the May At Ease Lunch.  

Make your plans now.  Don’t miss this great opportunity for good food and fellowship around the At Ease tables.  It only cost you an hour of your time and $7.00. 

Invite a friend, and don’t forget to register by noon on May 3.  We would hate for you to be left out.

Presbyterians Helping with Soup Kitchen – May 4, 5:30 pm.
First Presbyterian is responsible for the May 4, 5:30 soup kitchen at First Baptist Church. Anyone interested in helping, please contact Diane Rieg.

Yard Sale for Mission Trip – May 8
The Summer Mission Trip team will have a yard sale to help with the costs of the coming mission week.  The Yard Sale will be on Saturday May 8th from 6:00 am until.  If you have a suitable item for the sale, please drop it off at the Fellowship Building, and put it on the stage, on the following days: Mondays through Thursdays 9:00 to 1:00 pm.  You can make other arrangements with David Nagel.
